Latest Local Filings

It doesn't appear that the battle has been joined for the control of the Kootenai County GOP Central Committee yet. But that is likely to change in the next two days. Former commissioner Rick Currie, who filed as a candidate for state Rep. Kathy Sims HD4 seat, is running for committeeman in Precinct 49. You can see the current list of precinct filings here. There's no changes in the county courthouse filings (unless the clerk's office hasn't updated the list yet). Click here. In legislative filings, Danielle Ahrens has filed against Sen. Shawn Keough (SD1) and Democrat Cheryl Stransky has filed for Rep. Vito Barbieries (HD2) seat. You can see latest list here.
