Huckleberries Hears ... that there's been some activity this afternoon, with Reasonable Republican-type individuals submitting candidacy papers for GOPrecinct Committeeman races. A Berry Picker gives County Clerk Jim Brannon kudos for having a notary public in his office to stamp the papers. Seems candidates had to visit to different offices in the past to complete the paperwork. Also, Jeff Selle and Shawn Gust of the Coeur d'Alene Press are at the courthouse to record the final afternoon of filings & affiliating. I'll post the final list of courthouse, precinct candidates when the clerk's office posts them. We'll begin discussing the races Monday.
