Person Field To Get Playground

Exciting changes are in store for a 3-acre city-owned play field along 15th Street in eastern Coeur d’Alene. Thanks to a $30,000 donation from the Coeur d’Alene Association of Realtors, the grassy expanse will soon sport new playground equipment, which is scheduled to be installed this summer. Since the city assumed complete ownership of the field in 2013, officials have been meeting with neighbors to discuss options to enhance public use of the park, said interim city parks director Bill Greenwood.“We heard from a lot of people that playground equipment would be a great addition,” Greenwood said. “We are excited and thankful to the Board of Realtors for their generous donation to support this cause”/Keith Erickson, Coeur d'Alene Today. Question: Would you like to see the city of Coeur d'Alene continue to develop Person Field?
