Eden: Whalen Resignation Rejected

EdeninCDA (RE: Whalen offers to quit as group chair): As a Boys and Girls Club board member, I'd like to share that the board has declined Pat's offer to resign. The National Organization's charter, also only holds felony offenses as grounds for removal from a board position. CathyAnn grasped at the wrong straw here - and boy, do she and Bob deserve the backfire they are receiving. I can say that Pat is one of the best Board President's our BGClub has ever had... he is very positive, productive and works his tail off to great results. Everyone on the board respects him. To lose him would have been a great deficit to the club. I for one am disgusted with CathyAnne's tactic to go after this very productive non-profit that HELPS KIDS! She and Bob should be ashamed.

  • DFO: It appears that Facebook post in which Sen. Nonini lambasted challenger Pat Whalen for taking a "cheap shot" has been removed. Click here.

Question: Good move by the Boys & Girls Club?
