3 Compete To Handle 4 Corners Plan

This aerial view shows the original Four Corners area, Mullan Avenue and Northwest Boulevard, as you approach downtown Coeur d'Alene.
A selection committee is reviewing proposals from local landscape architects and engineering firms for development of a master plan for the what is known as the Four Corners area—a 40-acre, mile-long stretch roughly from Independence Point to the Riverstone development. Requests for qualifications were submitted by Welch Comer Engineers; Verdis, a landscape architecture firm; and a combined proposal from Landmark Architects and JUB Engineers. The firms all have local offices. The chosen team will be announced May 19 and the firm is expected to enter into a contract June 5. Completion of the plan is set for October 24.
Question: Do you realize this project is twice the size of the new McEuen Park and adjacent parking?
