Matheson Questions Office’s Integrity

Steve Matheson, GOP candidate for Kootenai County treasurer, posted this on his Facebook page:

I have raised serious concerns regarding the integrity of the Kootenai County Treasurer’s office; the most alarming being the intentional and deliberate misrepresentation of county documents. I have repeatedly and publicly challenged my opponent for an explanation. Given the continuing silence together with the Treasurer’s office failing to respond to multiply requests for explanation, I look to those endorsing my opponent to invalidate my claim. The ramifications for questioning the integrity of the Kootenai County Treasurer’s office cannot be overstated. Therefore if my claim of intentional misrepresentation is unsupported or inaccurate in any way, I will apologize publicly to my opponent and immediately terminate my campaign. Please contact me (StevenD@MathesonForTreasurer.com) and I will forward the applicable evidence.

Question: Do you believe Matheson is raising legitimate issues re: county Treasurer's Office?
