2 Absentee Deadlines Approaching

Kootenai County Chief Deputy Clerk Pat Raffee announced two deadlines coming up next week. “Voters who want an absentee ballot for the May 20 Primary election mailed to them need to submit their request by 5PM Wednesday, May 14”, Raffee noted. Voters can click http://www.kcgov.us/elections/ to download the Absentee Ballot Request form.  The form can be returned to the Elections office by mail, fax, or email.  Kootenai County is paying the postage for mailed absentee ballots. “Voters who want to vote early in person for the May 20 primary election need to visit the County Elections office by Friday, May 16,” Raffee continued.  The Elections office is at 1808 N. Third Street in Coeur d’Alene, and is open 8AM to 5PM weekdays. Currently registered voters should bring a photo ID with them to cast their ballot, or they may sign a Personal Identity Affidavit instead/Kootenai County Clerk's Office. More here.
