Kroc Center Tops Vision 2020 List

Organizers in Coeur d’Alene were in the midst of CdA 2030 in May. It was a project designed to create a vision of what the city would be like in the year 2030. Before that, there was CdA 2020, which was created in 2001. Success was seen in the 2020 project in 2014. The creation of the KROC Center in Coeur d’Alene was one of the many goals city organizers had in mind during the project. The center offers everything from a climbing wall to a theater and gyms. "I would say the Kroc Center far exceeds our grandest and biggest dreams ever for a community center,” said CDA 2020 Steering Committee member Sue Thilo/Taylor Viydo, KREM. More here.

Question: Is there anyone out there who is still willing to admit that s/he opposed the Kroc Center during the planning, fund-raising and site preparation phases? Spencer?
