I wonder what's going to happen after the GOPrimary when we know the winners and losers. The Idaho Republican Party is split, possibly permanently, between Reasonable Republicans and the Liberty Caucus (Phil Hart-type) ones. There seems to be no cross-over re: the candidates endorsed by each group. You're either for Gov. Butch Otter, AG Lawrence Wasden and the rest of the gang all the way down the ticket or for Russ Fulcher, Chris Troupis & Co. After the tears of joy & grief dry, do you expect the Tea-publicans to back Reasonable Republican candidates who win and vice versa? Will Congressman Raul Labrador become a man without a party, if the Otterites win up and down the line? Do mainstreamers coalesce behind Fulcher, if his side wins? I suspect that the Republican Party in Idaho has become to distinct parties. So what do you think?
Question: Will the Reasonable Republicans and Liberty Caucus Republicans come together after the GOPrimary to back candidates with an R after their names. Or will the losers simply sit out the general election -- or go one step further, by quietly backing Democrats?
