City Council Statues At McEuen?
Rather than commemorate the current City Council with many other notables on a plaque honoring those who participated in development and construction of McEuen Park, Joker has suggested that we erect statues of the council. Here is where he'd place them:
- Ron Edinger needs to placed where the old American Legion fields used to be located. The statue needs Ron with a glove on one hand and a cigarette in the other.
- Sandi Bloem should be at the rainbow entrance -- greeting visitors. This will drive Mary crazy.
- Deanna Goodlander should be near the Tubbs Hill hiking trail entrance given her family's history in preserving this treasure.
- Mike Kennedy should be next to the playground equipment (He has 17 kids after all).
- Woody McEvers: Next to the pavilion and grooving to the music.
- Dan Gookin should be near the swings. He seems to go back and forth.
- Steve Adams -- He needs to be placed between the squirting beaver and the SS Kiwanis with a surprised look on his face.
