Edit: Dissent Brewing In Idaho

It’s time that Idaho Republicans stop declaring themselves the representatives of all “Idahoans,” accept that they govern a diverse state and start actually listening the views that are outside of party dogma. Rampant group-think has for too long dominated the Capitol, locking hundreds of thousands of voters out of the process. Idaho’s Republican party scored resounding victory after victory last week, sweeping the three statewide races. But, as displayed by the sudden influx of outside cash bolstering Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter’s re-election bid, none of the races for governor, secretary of state and superintendent of public instruction were sure bets a couple weeks out.
