Tuesday Poll: A plurality of Hucks Nation wants the city of Coeur d'Alene to recognize the religious exemption of the Hitching Post, as a means to calm down the controversy over the owners' gay marriage stand. 112 of 255 respondents (43.92%) took that stand. 40 of 255 respondents (15.69%) want the city to rescind its anti-discrimination ordinance as it applies to gays. 38 of 255 respondents (14.9%) would like to see the Hitching Post owners fined & hauled off to jail. 13 of 255 respondents (5.1%) would like to see a lengthy court battle. And 40 of 255 respondents (15.69%) marked "other."
