Patty Duke’s ‘Don’t Just Stand There’

Herb Huseland, the Bayview sleuth, has found video of Coeur d'Alene's favorite actress Patty Duke, as a teen-ager, singing her 1960s hit, "Don't Just Stand There."

DFO: Gracious! I was listening to Patty (Anna Marie) Duke sing "Don't Just Stand There" 50 years ago. On Thursday, I watched her on an Internet video for Social Security showing Americans how to sign up for Medicare coverage before their 65th birthday. I followed suit. Also, I read her autobiography, "Call Me Anna," which describes her battle with manic depression. I guess I'm a fan. How about you?
