PFPD: 30 Days To Remove Studs 

In a Facebook PSA, Post Falls PD warns motorists that they have 30 days to remove their studded tires from vehicles. Hey, don't look at me. I didn't run studs this year. No reason to do so. In fact, I've only run studs twice in last 6 years, on one of my two cars. However, I do get bugged listening to cars w/studded tires whir by on dry pavement.

City Hall Gas Theft Suspect Caught 

Post Falls police apprehended a suspect believed to have stolen gas from Post Falls City Hall van pool vehicles. Making matters worse, Ryan Patrick Hoffman, 38, allegedly gave a false name when originally arrested. Later, PFPD added a number of charges to the original one of steling gas.

CPD Offers Tips For Safe Jogging

On its Facebook wall, the Coeur d'Alene Police Department offered 10 tips for runners to enjoy safe jogging. They include common sense tips such as run against traffic, never run more than two abreast and warn others as you jog up behind them. OTOH, bicyclist should abide by rules of vehicles, riding with the traffic.
