The Kootenai County Election Department has provided a final list of contested races for the May 19 nonpartisan elections, ranging from one race for Coeur d'Alene School District trustee to three contested races for various highway district positions. The Coeur d'Alene School Board Zone 3 race features incumbent Terri Seymour and challenger Tambra Pickford. The final list is shorter than the one the Election Department circulated on March 20, the filing deadline. A taxing district is not required to hold an election if only one candidate files for a position. Final list here.
