Sims, McMillan, Vito Oppose Ed $$$ 

A trio of north Idaho representatives voted against the 2016 public schools budgets Monday, less than a week after they passed the Senate unanimously. Rep. Shannon McMillan, R-Silverton, voted against six of the seven budgets. McMillan was joined by Reps. Vito Barbieri and Kathleen Sims in opposing the teacher salary appropriation bill.

Rosenberry Of Rosenberry Drive 

In the Coeur d'Alene Press today, Sara Ferris introduces us to Walter S. Rosenberry, her grandfather, whose name is attached to Rosenberry Drive, the scenic stretch of roadway, hugging North Idaho College, that we call Dike Road. Not only was Rosenberry co-owner of the Winton Lumber Co. but he lived in a home that was to become the Blackwell House.
