The day begins with news that Councilmen Dan Gookin and Ron Edinger want to forgive $845,100 in LID improvements for the richest of property owners in Coeur d'Alene -- those along Front Avenue who have benefited greatly by the $20M upgrade to McEuen Park and their adjoining street. $845K! Weren't these two of the three birds who were scuh-reaming about the price tag of McEuen Park? Now they want to forgive nearly a million bucks in street repair?
