Poll: Otter Fears Far Right

  • Monday Poll: A plurality of Hucks Nation says Gov. Butch Otter hasn't called a special session to fix Idaho's child support crisis yet because ... he fears the Far Right and its legislators who created the mess. 84 of 229 respondents (36.68%) believe Otter is dragging his feet on the crisis because he fears the Far Right. 51 of 229 respondents (22.27%) say Otter doesn't have the votes to overturn the result of the House Judiciary & Rules Committee's 9-8 vote against child support legislation. Also: 39 (17.03%) say Otter has no plans to call a special session; 23 (10.04%) say the governor enjoys the attention while he dallies; 18 (7.86%) say he's afraid of Sharia law coming to Idaho, too; and 14 (6.11%) say he's snubbing the feds.
  • Today's Poll: Why are Idaho U.S. Sens. Crapo & Risch ignoring female candidates in their search for federal district court nominees?
