Fire Dept Answers HBO Questions

City spokesman Keith Erickson has provided a question-and-answer response to questions raised on Huckleberries Online following a 5Q's interview with Fire Chief Kenny Gabriel and Finance Director Troy Tymesen re: the $6M public safety bond Tuesday:

Q. Are the Coeur d’Alene firefighters handing out Public Safety Bond literature and answering questions “on duty” and getting paid?

A. No. The firefighters are not on duty and they have spent hundreds of man hours over the last 8 weeks attending meetings and going door to door “off duty” to give the public a chance to ask questions and provide them with answers to make an informed choice in this election. More here.

Any more questions?
