Cis (RE: Liver): many hours were spend at the table.. even mustard did not help.. couldn't leave the table until the liver was gone.. (oh dog please help me)... was given it the next day for breakfast, and then lunch until it was gone.. I HATE LIVER... then jump 35 years later.. sitting at my mother's house having a cup of coffee.. she is not happy as she has to make liver for dinner for dad.. She says, and I almost fell off the chair.. I HATE LIVER.. After I found my voice and my jaw unlocked... I said.. WHY.. WHY.. did I HAVE to eat liver as a kid.. You MADE me eat liver.. I gagged it down.. AND her answer was a typical mother reply... IT IS GOOD FOR YOU... By this time I knew that in fact LIVER is NOT good for you.. has a lot of fat in it.. You can eat raisins for the same iron/ protein. I didn't know if I should have laughed.. or be pissed off to the max... it was a combo of the two. By the way, my kids NEVER EVER had to eat liver.

Question: Was there a food that you were forced to eat as a kid that you hated? Did you ever force your kids to eat something they didn't like?
