‘War Bonds’ gets panned? Really?

Cindy's "War Bonds: Love Stories from the Greatest Generation" got panned. And she was woman enough to post a link to the review in her latest War Bonds blog post:

Question: How can you pan wholesome stories about World War II veterans and their true loves?
