Letter: County wrong on refugees

The hopeful feeling I was given by the story in the Spokesman-Review about the 1943 Polish family who took in the 4-year-old Jewish boy in Warsaw at great peril to their family was quickly dashed by the Kootenai County Commissioners’ “resolution” on refugees printed in The Press Thursday. The cowardice of our commissioners is palpable in every “whereas” of the refugee resolution. It might be time to quit being led around by the nose of Mr. Brent Regan. Remember Jesus was a Middle Eastern man. Oh, yes, and it is the season for goodwill to all/Mary Rosdahl, of Coeur d'Alene, letter to the Coeur d'Alene Press editor.

Thoughts?
