Warming Center to reopen Monday

Executive Director Jeff Conroy of St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho announces:

"The extreme cold weather is back and we NEVER want anyone to freeze. So the St Vincent de Paul North Idaho Warming Center is going to reopen Monday evening, December 14 through Sunday evening, December 20. NO MATTER WHAT we will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas as well. Future nights will be extended as extreme cold persists. As the sub-25 degree temperatures continue, St Vincent’s shelter will always be open from 7:00pm-7:00am.

"The Coeur d’Alene located at Father Bill’s Kitchen, behind the Coeur d’Alene St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. St Vincent de Paul is able to shelter 45 individuals and will have available sleeping bags, blankets, gloves, stocking caps, coats, a full bathrooms, warm food and drinks.

"A huge Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to donate sleeping bags, blankets, and food. Everything has been so appreciated by those we serve. Because of the need St Vincent de Paul is accepting donations of warm food at both locations. If you are able to help or donate please contact Warming Center Coordinator Ben 208-771-5396.
