Snowmobiler dies from heart attack in Shoshone County

Members of the party Nelson was riding with reportedly took him down the mountain and contacted local emergency services, which contacted LifeFlight to dispatch a helicopter for emergency extraction.

LifeFlight crew members landed near the Bumblebee Bridge then traveled by snowmobiles to the patient located in the Steamboat section of the North Fork.

Although CPR had been started almost immediately on Nelson after the initial heart attack, medical crews were unable to revive him after they arrived, the sheriff's office reported. CdA Press
