25YO Charged In Walgreens Robbery

Brian J. Lindsey, 25, of Spokane Valley, (pictured) has been arrested and charged in the robbery of the Walgreens pharmacy, 335 Appleway, at 8:37 p.m. Sunday. Responding Coeur d'Alene police were told that a white male dressed in all black clothing jumped the counter of the pharmacy and demanded prescription medication. The suspect handed the victim a note that stated he had a gun. The note also specified a list of what medications he wanted. The suspect grabbed the bag containing the controlled substances, and then fled the store on foot north through the parking lot of Walgreens. The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force assisted patrol in the investigation of the robbery. Through investigative leads they located the suspect at an apartment complex in the 600 block of Wilbur Avenue. Lindsey is currently being held without bond and is scheduled for first appearance this afternoon.  He has no other booking history in Kootenai County.
