Bloem Joins Gallatin Firm

Sandi Bloem, the longest serving and first woman mayor of Coeur d’Alene, has joined Gallatin Public Affairs. Gallatin is celebrating 25 years as a leading Northwest Public Affairs firm. Bloem served as mayor of Coeur d’Alene from 2002 to 2014. During her leadership, Coeur d’Alene built the most successful Salvation Army Kroc Center in the country, built the first new city library and redesigned McEuen Field. Known for her collaborative leadership style, Bloem also succeeded in working with the business and education leadership to develop the education corridor/Jeffrey Bell, Gallatin Public Affairs news release. More here.

Cutline: In this June 10, 2005 SR file photo, City Finance Director Troy Tymesen, left, Mayor Sandi Bloem and then project coordinator Renata McLeod write a press release announcing the awarding of a Kroc foundation grant of $25 million to build a civic center in Coeur d'Alene.

DFO: Gallatin is wise to tap knowledge and ability of former Coeur d'Alene mayor. Thoughts?
