The Balance North Idaho political action committee announced its plans for participation in this year's nonpartisan Kootenai County taxing district elections. "Due to the quantity of nonpartisan elections this year, we will use a combination of questionnaires and in-person interviews. For some issues and elections, we will investigate facts and request information via a questionnaire. For others, we will conduct in-person interviews," said Eden Irgens, BNI president. "We will only weigh in on candidate elections when there is a candidate with opposition." The PAC was formed in 2013.
