Edit: GOP Officials Acted Like 12YOs

In an editorial, the Twin Falls Times-News lambasts the Idaho GOP legislators and leaders for acting like juveniles when the president visited Boise Wednesday: "Obama’s visit was a coup for BSU, each and every alumnus, and the taxpayers and students who paid for the science and technology build-out that Obama flew in to laud. Idahoans built something the world’s most powerful man wanted to promote. And yet, Republican state lawmakers refused to step outside their self-constructed echo chamber. “I couldn’t go if I wanted to,” said House Speaker Scott Bedke, R-Oakley, before the Wednesday event. But Bedke holds the gavel and easily could have called for a three-hour adjournment. He just didn’t want to go. Other lawmakers were too busy impersonating junior high kids and spewing venom on social media." More here.
