Pipebomb Device Found At Motel

From Coeur d'Alene Police Department Facebook: At 2:01 p.m. today, staff from the Budget Saver Motel, 1519 Sherman Ave., contacted the Coeur d'Alene police in regards to a suspicious device that had been found in one of the rooms. The person that rented the room was not on scene when the device was discovered. Officers responded and confirmed the device had the appearance of a pipe bomb. The surrounding apartments were evacuated, a perimeter was established and the Spokane Bomb Squad was requested to assist. Once the device(s) is rendered safe the investigation will continue.
