Idaho Racing Chief Lobbies Wyoming

Idaho Racing Commission Director Frank Lamb told lawmakers last week that he is not a "cheerleader" for instant horse racing because his agency regulates the pari-mutuel betting system in Idaho. In his other job, though, Lamb is a cheerleader for instant racing. In addition to his state job in Idaho, Lamb works as a consultant for Wyoming Downs LLC, a private company that operates live, simulcast and instant horse racing in Wyoming. Lamb said he does not think simultaneously heading Idaho's horse racing regulating agency and working for a private track operator in Wyoming is a conflict of interest/Cynthia Sewell, Idaho Statesman.
