Statesman Edit: Add The Words

It is long past the time the Idaho Legislature should have added the words "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to the state's Human Rights Act. Any rejection of the amendment in House Bill 2 from here on out is tantamount to endorsing discrimination against gay and transgender people. Wait, wait, you say. What about the "unintended consequences" and the "assault" on religious freedom this action could cause? Well, what about them? There now are 10 Idaho cities with anti-discrimination ordinances that protect gay and transgender people. Where are the unintended consequences of those ordinances?/Idaho Statesman Editorial Board. More here.

Thoughts?
