Officer Robertson’s Busy Night

From Swing & Graveyard shifts (209 calls for service):

Officer Robertson responded to assist KCSD on a reported domestic (on H41). Officer Robertson waited outside with the male half of the incident while a county deputy was dealing with the female inside the residence. The female was determined to have a $500 warrant for her arrest. When KCSD attempted to take her into custody a fight broke out. Officer Robertson, being keen on his feet, heard and saw the struggle and went inside to help. As he was attempting to subdue the female she reared her head back and head butted him in the face. Officer Robertson was able to get the female into handcuffs after that and she was taken to PSB on multiple charges including the felony battery on a Peace Officer."

And:

Officers responded to a disturbance call (on Nesqually) . On scene the RP advised officers that his adult son was freaking out, had battered him, and was most likely on Meth. As they were speaking with the RP his son locked the front door and barricaded himself in the residence. RP had the keys to the residence and unlocked the door for officers. Officer Robertson took the opportunity to use PSD Andor due to the nature of the call. Officer Robertson gave K9 announcements into the residence and got no response. He released Andor into the residence, who began barking at an upstairs bedroom door. The male opened the door with Officer Robertson holding Andor. The male was given lawful orders to lay on his stomach and place his hands behind his back. The male began to flail around and eventually got on his stomach. As he did this the male was reaching under the bed mattress and was told to stop. He didn’t listen to this order so Officer Robertson stepped towards the male having Andor bark at him. The male gave up at this time and was taken into custody. This was a good job by Officer Robertson and PSD Andor.

DFO: Want to join me in giving a hat tip to Officer Robertson, Andor, and the other officers involved in dealing with these, ahem, fine citizens of our local area?
