We've been focused on the Cape Horn fire. But Pecky Cox/As the Lake Churns & the Priest Laker blog reminds us that things are dicey in the Priest Lake area as a result of the Granite Creek Fire and other fires in her part of the Panhandle.   • 4:49 p.m. Officer reports green turn arrow letting few cars through @ H95/I-90, CdA.
  • 4:30 p.m. Unknown-injury accident reported at Honeysuckle Ave/Govt Way, CdA.
  • 4:37 p.m. Gold Dodge van on fire @ F St/3rd St, Worley, b/n fire station & post office.
  • 4:16 p.m. An adult male & a boy are jumping off Blue Creek Bridge, along I-90, east of Coeur d'Alene.
  • 4:15 p.m. Unknown-injury accident reported @ 18th St/Lakeside Ave, CdA.
  • 4:13 p.m. ISP officer reports that emergency-crossover sign @ I-90/MP 9 (near Huetter) has been down for week.

  • 3:51 p.m. Injury crash b/n 2 vehicles reported @ Ironwood Drive/Lincoln Way, CdA.
  • 3:42 p.m. Fire official is looking for Cape Horn fire spokesman to put out new press release.
  • 3:34 p.m. From SR tweet: "Red flag warning in effect until 9 pm for t-storms in NE Wash., N. Idaho, Okanogan highlands. Lightning and light rain/small hail possible."
  • 3:28 p.m. Someone is unconscious @ State Line Walmart, 6450 W. Point Parkway.
  • 3:27 p.m. Fire official on scene on suspicious 15th St/CdA fire wants sheriff's detective to return.
  • 3:22 p.m. Undisclosed medical emergency @ 4900 block of E. Briar Court/Athol.
  • 3:01 p.m. Domestic dispute b/n a man & a woman reported @ 1600 block of E. Hastings Ave/CdA.
  • 3:01 p.m. Driver of silver VW Passat w/Montana plates possibly DUI @ e/b I-90/MP 11 (NW Blvd/CdA).
  • 2:48 p.m. A 4-by-4 block of wood is lying on H95/MP 429.5 (Spokane River bridge).
  • 2:11 p.m. Fire officials suspicious of male in pickup w/4-wheeler who showed up at Bayview Community Service Center & claimed he was a police official after putting on some sort of vest.
  • 2:06 p.m. Fire officials on scene want detective to look at possible evidence from 15th St fire. (1:15 item).
  • 1:59 p.m. 3 males in newer white pickup driving fast, recklessly @ e/b I-90/MP 3 (McGuire Road overpass).
  • 1:35 p.m. Driver of Expedition raced off after hitting another vehicle along 3rd St/CdA.
  • 1:15 p.m. Resident w/extinguisher reports suspicious grass fire @ Lookout Drive/15th St, CdA. Area has been the focus of about a half dozen arson fires in recent weeks.
