Farragut State Park and The Idaho Parks and Recreation Department mark their 50th Anniversary this year. To celebrate, Farragut has opened a new wing of their museum at the old Navy Brig. Until this new expansion, the Brig has only featured a wing dedicated to the parks military past during World War Two. The new “Discover Historywing of the museum covers a wide range of topics that tell the State Parks story, beginning with the Ice Age floods from Glacial Lake Missoula that formed the area over 15,000 years ago/Chanse Watson, IdahoPanhandler.com.
