Wild Card/Thursday — 7.30.15

I enjoyed getting acquainted with Joel Osborne of the IdahoPanhandler.com site over coffee this morning at Calypso's. Afterward, I rushed off to discover that a driver of a ha-huge Toyota Sequoia had parked so close to my 4Runner that I had about a foot of space to get in the driver's side (not counting the side-view mirrors that nearly touched). If I hadn't been in such a rush (to start feeding the maw of this blog, I would have left a note that asked the driver how long s/he had been parking vehicles. Have you had a close encounter with a parking slob recently? Oh well, I got to work in one piece. Enjoyed hobnobbing with a fellow onliner. And I'm fairly awake after a 20-ounce cup of joe from Calypso's, which I discovered after arriving a few minutes early, opens at 7 o'clock. Here's your Wild Card for Thursday ...
