TGIF Wild Card — 7.31.15

In the last week, I've encountered three friends I haven't seen in at least a decade or longer. A former youth minister at a former church. And attorney Malcolm Dymkoski and his wife, Pauline. It's odd to run into old friends, esp. when they approach you unexpectedly, and they changed a bit over the years. Sometimes, it takes a moment to remember who they are. I contacted attorney Dymkoski on several occasions when I covered the county courthouse in the 1980s. Last time I saw Pauline, she was serving tables and exchanging barbs with customers at Franklin's Deli. She was Pauline Anderson then. She and her late husband, Larry, ran the deli until Larry got sick. I enjoyed catching up with Malcolm and Pauline at the Handshake Productions concert at Hayden City Park last evening. They looked very happy. Malcolm said I looked much older. Pauline said I looked good. So I broke even. Now for today's Wild Card ...
