Wild Card/Thursday — 6.4.15

It's another beautiful day in the Inland Northwest -- and my family is beginning to arrive in Coeur d'Alene for all the celebrations that we're having this month. We had dinner at the Iron Horse last evening to welcome a brother-in-law to town, and were well served by a delightful waitress named Stephanie. Two couples from my side of the family left the Tri-Cities this morning for a three-week stay here. I'm holding my breath -- not really -- that elected officials won't say something nasty about me today, that my relatives might read. Most of them think I'm a swell guy. And I'd to have my detractors persuade them otherwise. Here's your Thursday Wild Card ...
