Tribe Files Legal Challenge To Veto 

The Coeur d'Alene Tribe has filed a legal challenge to Gov. Butch Otter's veto of a bill that would have banned instant racing machines in Idaho. The tribe contends that Otter didn't meet the deadline set by the Idaho Constitution in issuing his veto. And that Secretary of State Lawerence Denney should certify the bill into law.

House Panel Wants Pastor's Release

The House Committee on Foreign Affairs has joined Congressman Raul Labrador in seeking the release of imprisoned Boise pastor Naghmeh Abedini from an Iran prison. Abedini was arrested in 2012 and charged with intentionally undermining the national security of Iran by gathering with other Christians in private homes.
