The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office will be changing the operating hours of the administration office’s lobby to the public. Effective Monday, the KCSO lobby will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally, Concealed Weapon Permits (CWP) will only be processed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The days of processing CWP’s will remain the same: application days are Wednesdays and Thursdays; picture days are Thursdays and Fridays. Registered Sex Offenders (RSO) processing will remain Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Office will not be able to process any CWP’s or RSO’s due to computer upgrades.
