Scott Rips House GOP Bullies

On her Facebook wall, state Rep. Heather Scott, R-Blanchard, rips House Republican leadership for bullying tactics during a Republican caucus Wednesday:

I would like to let my fellow Republican colleagues know that what we witnessed Wednesday from the Idaho House Republican Caucus Leadership behind closed doors was wrong and disgraceful. Each of us, that has been elected to the House, works for the citizens of our respective districts- not the Speaker of the House or the Republican Party. Unwritten or secret rules have no place in our republican form of government and in no way should such “assumed rules” be the basis for leadership to attempt to control Representatives and their constituents. We are not accountable to House or Senate leadership or the Republican Party, but to the citizens of our districts. I will continue to make my voting decisions based on the best interests of those I represent and will not be bullied by angry establishment members shouting statements like “go stick that in a pipe and smoke it!” More here. H/T: Dustin Hurst.

Question: Bully for Heather Scott. Finally, a Republican who won't bow meekly to legislative GOP leadership. Thoughts?
