Poll: R-Rated Films In Schools? Yes

  • Monday Poll: Hucks Nation has no trouble with teachers airing R-rated films in Coeur d'Alene schools, as part of regular instruction, esp. those films that have been edited for TV. 82 of 248 respondents (33.06%) said the Coeur d'Alene School Board should continue to permit R-rated films to be shown. Another 73 (29.44%) said the films should be shown, if they have been edited for TV. OTOH, 62 (25%) wondered why movies are shown at all in classrooms. And 28 (11.29%) said R-rated movies should be banned altogether, edited or not. 3 (1.21%) were undecided.
  • Today's Poll: Should the Coeur d'Alene School District remove Steinbeck's 'Of Mice & Men' from routine 9th-grade classroom use?
