Slide Show: Post Falls Honors Moore

On her Facebook wall, Post Falls Councilwoman Kerri Thoreson provides 6 photos of police officers and firefighters on Post Falls at the temporarily closed Idaho Street overpass this morning in honor of Greg Moore, the first Coeur d'Alene police officer killed in the line of duty. On the freeway below, Coeur d'Alene police in their patrol cars were escorting the body of fallen colleague Greg Moore, in a funeral home van, en route to Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, where Moore's body was to be autopsied. The photos include the one above that says it all -- on officer with young son in his arms and gun on his hip, protecting his family and community.
