Idaho D’s Back Hillary, GOP Split

With about a year until Idaho's political parties choose their presidential candidates, the Republican field looks pretty open, and Hillary Clinton is the overwhelming early favorite on the Democratic side, according to the latest poll from Idaho Politics Weekly. The fields are very different, of course — there are a number of candidates with roughly equal name recognition on the Republican side, while Clinton, who has been known to just about everyone in America for more than 20 years from her time as first lady, U.S. senator and secretary of state, has been pretty much the only candidate getting substantial attention on the Democratic side. Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, who declared his candidacy on the last day of the poll, wasn't even included. The poll showed 28 percent of all Idahoans — regardless of party affiliation — are undecided on their favorite Republican candidate/Nathan Brown, On The Agenda. More here.

Question: Aren't you glad Idaho is going to waste $2M for an early presidential primary to decide which candidate the Republicans prefer to support?
