Aha! Each week readers ask “What’s with Cracker Barrel? We need one!” Well, you’re getting one. The company just filed a Commercial Permit Application to build a restaurant structure at 1675 Lee Court. This is between Appleway Way and I-90 with Ramsey Road to the west and south of the Crossroads-Winco complex. Two other new eateries have also filed building permits for land nearby. The Cracker Barrel people in Lebanon, Tenn., wouldn’t divulge any more information such as when it would open. Founded in 1969, the company has 637 restaurants in 42 states.
