Poll: 2 wannabes show partisanship

  • Monday Poll: Hucks Nation has said in previous polls that it doesn't want to see partisanship in nonpartisan local election. In Monday's poll, Hucks Nation said that newcomer Toby Schindelbeck and incumbent Steve Adams have brought partisanship into this year's Coeur d'Alene City Council race by pushing their credentials as Republicans. The most partisan, according to the poll? Schindelbeck. 143 of 311 respondents (45.98%) said Schindelbeck was most partisan, with Adams following at 114 of 311 (36.66%). Far back in the pack, Dan English and Bruce MacNeil tied at 20 votes apiece (6.43%) and long-time Councilman Ron Edinger brought up the rear with only 14 votes (4.5%).
  • Today's Poll: Would you like to see Columbus Day changed to honor Indigenous Peoples?
