Edinger seeks another term

Coeur d'Alene City Councilman Ron Edinger announced Tuesday he is seeking another term. Edinger was first elected to the city council in 1968, serving until he was elected mayor in November 1973. He was mayor through 1978. He was again elected to the city council in 1980, and has continued since then. During Edinger's four-year term as mayor, the city purchased Tubbs Hill, developed Independence Point and acquired the Idaho Water Power Co. "If I'm fortunate enough to be elected for another term by the voters of Coeur d'Alene, I pledge to advocate and promote public safety through the support of our police and fire departments, work to maintain and advance good communications and relations between the city council and our fine employees and work to promote economic growth and the creation of good-paying jobs in our city," Edinger said in a statement/Coeur d'Alene Press. Question: Is Edinger unbeatable?
