5 refuse to answer Press questionnaire

The Coeur d'Alene Press has provided a valuable service to the community today by publishing a 35-page voter guide to introduce you to candidates, ranging from the Kootenai County sheriff to county commissioners to candidates for legislative seats in the three county districts. However, you won't find information on five of the usual suspects. The following incumbents -- incumbents! -- didn't bother to fill out a questionnaire provided to them by their local newspaper: Rep. Vito Barbieri and Sen. Steve Vick, in House District 2; Reps. Ron Mendive and Donald Cheatham, in House District 3; and Rep. Kathy Sims, in House District 4. The questionnaire asked yes/no questions about the minimum wage, Add the Words, abortion rights, Medicaid coverage, control of public lands, etc. -- you know, information that the average voter might want to know about their legislators.

Question: Do you think the five who refused to answer the questionnaire from the Coeur d'Alene Press, their hometown newspaper, would have the same attitude toward a questionnaire from the Idaho Freedom Foundation?
