A book of Bard’s poems in works

I'm delighted to report that a book of poetry written by our good friend Tom Wobker, The Bard of Sherman Avenue, is in the works. Tom and I had discussed the possibility a few years ago over coffee at Java on Sherman. Now, Washington poet laureate Tod Marshall of Gonzaga University has almost finished the project. He's hoping for a book launch late this fall. Tod writes Huckleberries:

"I just wanted to send a note to say that I’m about done with organizing and proofing a manuscript of Tom’s poems; I’m aiming for a 64-page book, which means that there will be about 250 of the Bard’s best in the book.  Am going to let it rest a week, and then look it over one more time before moving forward with layout and design."

DFO: I'll keep you posted as this project moves forward.
