Sunday concert to benefit K27 memorial

A benefit concert Sunday in Coeur d’Alene will raise money for the K27 Fallen Officer Memorial planned for McEuen Park.

The memorial will honor the late Sgt. Greg Moore, the Coeur d’Alene police officer shot and killed on duty in May 2015, and other fallen officers around the nation. Moore is remembered with his dispatch call number, K27, on thousands of car decals and signs around North Idaho.

The K27 Forever Benefit Concert will be from 4-8:30 p.m. at McEuen Park in downtown. The band The Power will perform, and food and games will be part of the fun.

The event is sponsored by the City of Coeur d’Alene, the Panhandle Parks Foundation and Davis Enterprises.

Tickets are $10 per adult, free for children. They can be purchased via email at panhandleparks@gmail.com or Tyler@liveafter5CDA.com.

Donations may be made to the memorial project at k27forever.com or mailed to Greg Moore Memorial Fund, c/o Mayor Steve Widmyer, Coeur d’Alene City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Ave., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814/SR.
