This morning, Marci, my long-time dental hygienist pooh-poohed recent reports that claim there's little proof that flossing improves health for teeth and gums. Yeah, right, she said. You should ask a dental hygienist about that report before you quit flossing. She said she gets a first hand peek at the damage caused when patients don't floss. I'm a believer. My regular teeth cleanings get dicey when I don't floss. I hope you take care of your teeth -- and that you talk to your dentist before jettisoning your floss. Now back to our regular programming.
